Anyone know a decent on-line dating service?

I’ve tried a variety of dating sites online over the past few years (such as eharmony, yahoo, match, matchdoctor, and christian cafe). It seems like its all the same users on almost all of the sites and some I’ve tried contacting but don’t they respond. I am looking for a dating site that is legit and where the people are quality professionals. I do not want to waste my time trying to hook up with someone only to find out that they don’t have a job and live with their mother. If anyone knows of an internet site that fits the bill, please tell me about it! I look forward to checking it out. Thanks!

I always liked Match.com for its features when I was using their service. As far as people living with their mom’s not a whole lot you can do about that.

are there still any single christian men out there anywhere?

I been trying to meet available men for friends first. I work fulltime, go to church, but there are hardly any single guys there.I am a single mom so maybe thats a problem?any suggestions? I live in a small town. even thought about moving to a bigger town, but I dont know if that would help.

You have to be patient, I’d suggest going to revivals, and Christian festivals. And many of my Christian friends met their special someone through other Christian friends.

I know it’s embarassing to ask a friend if they no somebody, but your friends can be the best matchmaker.

Well I’m not too keen on the websites but there is a fascinating book that I just finished reading called "I kissed dating goodbye" written by Joshua Harris. You absoloutely have to read it!… It addresses nearly everything, and he backs it up with scripture.

Online Chat Being Sued What do you think?

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – The popular online dating service eHarmony was sued on Thursday for refusing to offer its services to gays, lesbians and bisexuals.

A lawsuit alleging discrimination based on sexual orientation was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of Linda Carlson, who was denied access to eHarmony because she is gay.

Lawyers bringing the action said they believed it was the first lawsuit of its kind against eHarmony, which has long rankled the gay community with its failure to offer a "men seeking men" or "women seeking women" option.

They were seeking to make it a class action lawsuit on behalf of gays and lesbians excluded from the dating service.

eHarmony was founded in 2000 by evangelical Christian Dr. Neil Clark Warren and had strong early ties with the influential religious conservative group Focus on the Family.

It has more than 12 million registered users, and heavy television advertising has made it one of the nation’s biggest Internet

I think it is pretty moronic and it will probably get tossed out of the courts. It is a private website, it can do what it wants. As a gay man, I know that eharmony caters to the straight community, that’s why I use other websites. These people just need to get over it. By the way people, welcome to the real world, not everyone accepts us. I’m not saying that is right, I’m just saying that is the way things are at this point.

Single Christian men and sex? …Women also.?

As single christian men sex outside of marriage is forbidden but have you ever been guilty of just flirting or playing around. I mean you know you won’t actually have sex with a woman but you still like to kiss, dry hump, etc…not go too far and actually have sex. So you might feel convicted afterwards but you can take solace in that you never actually had sex. On the other hand you know the saying about playing with fire. Have you ever been in this position? Also if you get aroused and ejaculate while dry humping do you consider that fornicating. I would just like to hear thoughts and experiences.

Please, just continue to read, read, read, The Word, let it become printed on your heart, it will, turn your life into more Christlike, daily. You must first, have the desire. God is truly A Gentleman, He forces nothing but, He does, chasten, correct, rebuke, due to His Love for us so, be prepared to suffer the consequences if, you truly are God’s child. He chastens those He loves, and have called.

Wishing you a true transformation, in the renewing of your mind, this is where the battlefield is. Satan will have his way, as long as you allow him to. Start fighting back, he has to go, at The Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess, and every demon must flee. AMEN !!
