What to do about a big misunderstanding?

Okay i really can’t sleep, I know this sounds silly. But i met an awesome guy online he a christian he loves God someone i can actually look up to. Well i gave him my myspace and i had guys that i have never hung out with leave me msgs saying i was sexy or whatever. And i know i should tend to my myspace more but i never read my photo comments so i had no clue some of the things that were said. Then it says i’m a drinker which anyone who knows me knows i dont drink so i fixed it i never realized it said that..i feel like an idiot because i really like him alot and i dont know how to fix this btw hes in the service and we havent actually hung out yet just talk online…There are alot of guys on my myspace page but i either went to grade school or college with them …and advice on how to get him to realize i’m not talkin to the other guys on my myspace …and i didnt meet him on myspace i met him on a christian dating site

I guess I am not sure what your asking. are you asking how to fix your myspace account or how to talk to this guy you met?

I guess it doesn’t matter, first make your myspace private, then delete any comments, if you cannot delete the comments, delete the pictures. If you want reload the pictures. Then kick off everyone who you know that you don’t know. If you want explain that your page was vandalized and you will readmit people on an individual basis. I think peoples names (pictures or avatars) are left when they leave a comment.

For the guy, just explain what happened, though no explanation should be necessary, and you re not even going out yet.

Silly, by no means. a girls (womans) reputation is one of the most valuable thing she has.

i turn 35 this week and i am still single and was told christian and mainstream cliches that i could care less about literally – thing is should one wait on god for a spouse but if so how long – whens the cut off time – i hear nightmare stories of women in their 50s not married saying they are still waiting on god – um no not waiting anymore – is waiting on god a waste of time and if not is it ok to tell god im not waiting forever – im 35 i have waited all my 20s – and mid 30s – i have waitied and still single

I’m not too sure that this applies to me, or many other men, but i can kind of relate in a way.

There are two things that come into conflict, that your question arises rather discretley. Its true, looks are important to alot of people. Its usually what initially attracts a person, and what usually initiates a relationship. Society paints a picture that we should be good looking and that our partners should also be good looking. I mean look around, the magazines, TV, everything is centered around that kind of picture.

Christianity is not concerned about looks. It is about being humble, meek, having the attributes that Jesus Christ had. It is far more important to have compatability in the emotional side of a relationship than the physical side, and thats what christaintiy says about relationships. While not all chiristians follow this path that you mention, alot of them do. They are attracted because the person has a high spirit, or faith about them. It is their faith and spirit in Christ that they love about the person because after all, they too have a high faith and spirit in Christ.

Its true, the good looking ones have a bigger trial or more temptations then the "homlier" ones. They are probably asked out more, hit on more, and tempted more. Society also has a role in defining your image as Snotty, high matienence and hard to please.

But i’m sure thats not the case for you. You seem really whole hearted and thats great. Just be yourself, show your faith, and I’m sure others will catch on to how great you are…
