Why is this Christian chat room i m in seem to be full of people who seem to be overly happy for no reason?

I m Christian but i don’t feel like these people, i ve had a hard life and it shows.

I’m Christian, but when I’ve been around groups of Christians, it baffles my mind.
I don’t understand why it takes very little for these people to laugh and express so much joy.

I don’t get it.

Strong Christians, Please answer?? Where Do I Find Her?

Hi guys, I’m 22 years old and have been a Christian since I was a kid.

Now, I’m single and looking for a girlfriend, obviously she has to be a Christian, someone who values what I value and has the same beliefs and views as me. The church I used to go to was a very big church with at least five hundred members. I’m black myself and basically around 90% of the church members were also black, but I’m very open minded. I’m NOT racist against my own nationality at all, please don’t think that, but I really don’t want to marry a black women. I love white women (and other races). I just always have. I adore white girls, any race, but my preference is for white women. Don’t judge me, we all have preferences……

Anyway, I had been attending that church since I was six years old, but I decided to leave that church as of this year for reasons I wont really go into right now. My cousin invited me to her church and I love it, so I’ve decided to keep going to her church. My cousins church only has about 80 members. Yeah, big difference compared to my other church right? Most of the members are white, but it’s not even about that, just thought I would point that out. (They also have no young women my age). Oh, and I didn’t move change churches just because I couldn’t find a girlfriend there, I left for much, much deeper reasons..

So, back to my main point, I’ve been looking for a girlfriend for a long time now, I know I’m still young, but I have such a strong desire to meet someone. I don’t mean to boast at all, but I’m a good looking guy, but it seems so hard to find someone. I mean, as a Christian, where exactly do you meet a girlfriend? I don’t go to bars and clubs, so it’s not like I have much options… My previous church, all the young girls were black, I had been there since I was 6, so maybe I got tired of just seeing black girls? So maybe now I feel like I want everything but a black girl? I mean, it’s not really my fault is it? Well, for a while now, I have joined some Christian dating websites, but it’s hard finding luck there too. None of the girls there are really my type, and not much of the white girls on there seem to want a black guy……… At least it seems that way.
What do I do, and where in the world is a young Christian man supposed to find some potential partners?
I’ve been hit on by so many "Non Christian" women, they were attractive too, but they’re just not what I’m looking for, and they don’t share my lifestyle and ideals.

Being a Believer yourself, the desire to marry a Christian woman is a good one. If you are as "color blind" as you say, then race will not mattter.
If the Lord has a woman in mind for you, He is in the process of preparing the two of you for each other. Don’t rush it; don’t put God into your time restrictions. Stay open to God’s will and He will provide the best woman for you.
As with Genesis 2:22, God brings the woman to the man.
Begin today to pray for that woman, whoever she is.

Why as a Christian woman it is hard to find truly godly Christian men these days?

I have been praying for a truly godly husband. I am active in ministry and my church. I worked 2 yrs in a male dominated field, am involved in a ministry that is also male dominated (not on purpose just lead to do so), meet many people, belong to social groups, have joined online christian dating services, secular dating services, etc. I am an attractive educated well-spoken godly Christian woman. Unfortunately, I have met only so called christian men who talk on thing but "walk" another or are so spiritually immature (and immature as men, PERIOD) its very disappointing. Many christian women I know experience the same thing. Where are the truly godly men ? What am I doing wrong if anything/

Don’t know, I couldn’t find one either. I gave on that. I find there more mature, down to earth, good, honest men outside of the "christian" title. And they don’t go to church because if they do they just have a bunch of people judge them and tell them to change.
